COHERENCE

Jegro offers a coherent range of tools around the Rekenrek. First of all a separation can be made between the demonstration Rekenrek (for the teacher in front of the classroom) and the Individual Rekenrek (for the student’s use on their own desk). Besides a division can be made between Rekenrek product “up to 20” and “up to 100”. Above all there is a whole range of tools around the Rekenrek all focused on getting the students away from counting by ones and on offering real insight and understanding of numbers (number sense), such as number lines, bead strings, and games with 5 structure.
